Hello Design Friends,

Well it's been a hot minute now hasn't it? I'm sorry for being so distant but frankly it's never been busier. We have some exciting news..... Like HUGE! We've had the pleasure of working with Mike, Sherry, and Michael Holmes on their new HGTV series 'Holmes family rescue' and we feel very lucky to be the design team chosen for Episode 1 and 4. It airs on HGTV in the US December 4th at 8pm so tune in. It will air on HGTV in Canada likely in January and I will announce the date as soon as I have them.

December 4th is a big day for us because we have also participated in the Pickering college holiday home tour this year. Due to covid restrictions it's a virtual event this year. I'm excited to show you our holiday Home tour photos in a few weeks. We have tons of DIY ornaments and decor and we will share all of our tips and tricks on how you can get that signature MBD holiday style in your own home.

Meet Shelvie:

Shelvie Verani

International woman of mystery. Shelvie was born in Indonesia and left home at 18 to pursue her education. After traveling around the world extensively for schooling she landed in the USA for Interior and Architecture design. After completing that Bachelor in Fine Arts she moved to Toronto to continue her education in Design Management. She came to us as an intern and we simply could not let her go. Her sarcasm (listen closely for it) although subtle has us giggling the day away.

Robyn Bishop

Space planner extraordinaire! Sweet and Softspoken. A lover of Family time, bootcamp and keeping things well rounded with a wine tour thrown in here and there. She attended Fanshawe college for interior design and then continued her education at Georgian College for the Kitchen and bath program. Her calm presence keeps us grounded and relaxed around the office.
